Angelique Speaks! "Twitter Chats: Be the Host with the Most!" Saturday, November 16. TechPHX. Click for info!I was honored to be invited back to teach at the TechPhx Relevant Media Unconference in Tempe, Arizona! It was a fab two-day FREE conference with really interesting topics.

This was the topic of my interactive class:

Twitter Chats: Be the Host with the Most!

I’d planned to teach Twitter hosting and guesting skills HANDS-ON, and have the class check out a variety of chat tools and learn valuable Storify techniques. It turns out that most of the class were complete Twitter newbies, so we spent most of the time learning Twitter basics. There was a lot more listening than doing!

I’d love to teach an actual Twitter chat class some time, so if your organization would like one, give me shout!

When: Saturday, November 16, 2013
Time: 11am
Cost: Same-day registration is $15
Conference Dates: November 16 & 17
Where: University of Advancing Technology:
2625 West Baseline Road, Tempe, Arizona

Facebook thinks it knows what’s best for you. According to Facebook, you didn’t really know what you were doing when you clicked the “like” button and followed a business, school, band, charity or TV show. Sure, you think you want to see updates from that page, but Facebook wants to show you other things.

How and Why to use Facebook’s Biz Page Post Scheduler

September 24, 2012
Artistic image of graffiti that says Tag - You're It

It’s easy to forget that Facebook business pages have their own post schedulers. Facebook doesn’t promote its own native scheduling program much, even though Facebook discourages page administrators from scheduling posts using third-party applications like Hootsuite and Buffer. Facebook seems to want everyone to post live all the time, which is, frankly, ridiculous.
